With LiveMigrator UK public sector

WANdisco LiveData Migrator is now available on G-Cloud 12, one of the UK’s main marketplaces to help public sector customers find and buy cloud computing services..

By entering the framework, LiveData Migrator will be available to the central government, local councils, NHS Trusts, and other public sector bodies to support them across a variety of use cases, including quickly and easily migrating petabyte-scale data to the cloud without any operational downtime, enhancing disaster recovery and harnessing the benefits of data available across multiple clouds.

LiveData Migrator is an automated, self-service solution that enables public sector organizations to easily start migrating Hadoop data from on-premises to the cloud within minutes, even while the source data sets are under active use. Organizations can migrate their data without the need to hire engineers or consultants, and there is no worrying about shutting down operations. The solution can be implemented immediately while operations continue as usual with all ongoing data changes replicated to the target cloud environment. Public sector administrators can rest easy that data changes are migrated continuously and completely while minimizing IT resource involvement.

“LiveData Migrator's uniqueness lies in how it packages Hadoop data migration as a fully hands-off service. Moving data under active change is delicate, and organizations don't want to use their best IT people on it. LiveData Migrator handles everything in the background and doesn't require expertise from the customer. It's as close to a silver bullet as you can find for this type of project"

Merv Adrian, research vice president of data and analytics

With LiveData Migrator, organizations can make the transition to a hybrid architecture, where on-premises and cloud environments are kept consistent for active-active replication capabilities, and sets the foundation for a future multi-cloud architecture. To help IT administrators get started, we’re also making the platform available as a free trial for the first 5 TB – a risk-free way to see how easy LiveData Migrator is to implement and use.

Seeing is believing. Test drive Live Data Migrator today.
